Big Rock Trips

Weekly Skiing and Snowboard Trips to For many of our students, these weekly trips Jan-March (weather and conditions permitting) are the highlight of the school year. Students learn to ski or snowboard and gain confidence as they enjoy this outdoor activity. Big Rock is a non profit making it very affordable. Students that take part in the after school program (ASP) and meet requirements can have their fee taken care. Check out Big Rock here BIG ROCK

We will announce by Thursday noontime of each week if we have to cancel due to weather, poor road or trail conditions. Some weeks we may not have a bus and the trip may be limited to outdoor ed students going in a van.

 RENTAL EQUIPMENT FORM (fill out one time only)

Completely fill out and legible, do not leave any blanks except the helmet size. For skiers, be sure to fill in the skier type so bindings can be adjusted accordingly.  

 COST (2024 prices) Lift Ticket-$15.00 (rentals and lessons are free). Bring Money for Food, PIZZA LUNCH PROVIDED

PROPER CLOTHING: (Nylon/synthetic, not cotton (no Jeans) as snow sticks to cotton) Warm coat, Ski pants, insulated mittens or gloves, helmet. Extra layers on colder outings. Optional but recommended: Neck warmer, Ski goggles (amber tint) and a face mask or balaclava.
