Race Summary
Course Changes Yearly with the course being about 20 miles including an off trail compass run approximately 1 mile. The other legs of the race involve 10 miles of mountain biking on woods roads and trails, 8 miles of canoeing/kayaking, as well as challenges along the way as can be seen in the video above.
Divisions
Race in pairs in the High School Boys, Girls, Mixed, Adult Men, Women, Mixed, Jr./Sr., (Jr./Sr. minimum age is 12 and must compete with an adult). Additionally the Family division is for kids/teens with parents/mentors and can be 2 or more people. The family division includes the compass run and paddle legs and leaves out the bike leg. The Open division (can be any size group, relay, solo, race boats, etc.).

34 Mile Flat Water Race (a separate race from the adventure race)
From the headwaters of the Baskahegan Stream in Kossuth to Bancroft. This runs simultaneously with the Adventure Race as a paddle only option. (min age is 16 unless accompanied by an adult).Pre-Registration required, check in is 7:00AM sharp then load and go!
New this Year, Picking up your Boat at the Finish line in Bancroft
WE WILL NOT BE BRINGING YOUR BOAT BACK TO THE SCHOOL. We will have vans transporting racers back to the school from the finish line. You can pick up your boat before or after the awards ceremony (3:30). Directions: In the center of town, take the Bancroft Road and travel just under 8 miles and the takeout location will be on your left. Watch for a 'finish line' sign on the Bancroft Road.
Door Prizes
All racers are entered in a drawing for door prizes and must be present at the awards ceremony.
