A Vision Of Excellence For East Grand School

“Centering On Each Child”

East Grand School, as a learning organization, is committed to the premise that education is an integral part of life and that, given the opportunity, all students can reach their highest potential. Utilizing shared decision-making processes, this learning organization forms an educational partnership with parents, business people, educators, students, public officials, and citizens. This partnership is responsible for dealing with all issues related to school programs.

East Grand School utilizes all assessment data to help inform our practices at the district, school, classroom and individual levels for our students. Although we encourage students and parents to participate fully in our assessment program, it is important to note that parents/guardians may opt their child out of state testing. If you are interested in doing so, please reach out to the school principal to make this request in writing.

East Grand School is located in northern Washington County, Maine, near the Aroostook County border. Students reside in several local towns including Danforth, Weston, Bancroft, Wytopitlock, Brockton, and Reed Plantation. (Map)
